Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court Justice Dato Paduka Haji Abdullah Soefri POKSM DSP Haji Abidin represented Brunei Darussalam at a regional judicial roundtable on environmental and climate justice on October 13.

He attended the hybrid event, hosted in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, through an online video conference.

Participants also examined challenges faced by judges in environmental cases, gaps in judicial capacity and opportunities to strengthen judicial education in climate-related, rights-based and conservation litigation.

Senior Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati Haji Abdul Hamid and Registrar Muzakkir Awang Haji Zakaria also attended.
